Privacy and Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This policy describes, in concrete terms, what this site records while you browse it. It applies to the public pages of this domain and was written to be checked against the site's code — not to cover situations that do not happen here.
Who processes the data
The controller is Nunes Oliveira Valença Advocacia, located at Av. Madrid, 644, Bairro Universitário, Caruaru – PE, 55016-650, Brazil. Requests related to this policy may be sent to the firm's contact e-mail, shown in the footer.
Cookies in use
The list below is complete. Analytics cookies only come into existence after you allow them, and are deleted as soon as you withdraw permission.
nv_consentNecessaryStores your cookie decision, so we do not ask again on every page and can honour a refusal.

sb-<projeto>-auth-tokenNecessaryKeeps the session of anyone signed in to the restricted blog editorial area. It is not created for people who only read the site.
Duration: Until the session ends
NEXT_LOCALENecessaryStores the language you chose for the site, so it reopens in the same language on your next visit.
Duration: 1 year
nv_vidAnalyticsTells one visitor from another without identifying who they are, so we can know how many different people read the site.
Duration: 12 months
nv_sesAnalyticsGroups the pages opened within a single visit, so we can see the path taken through the site.
Duration: 30 minutes
What we record even without cookies
Regardless of your choice, we record anonymously and in aggregate: the page opened, the language, the city, state and country estimated from the connection, and the device type, browser and operating system reported by the browser itself. This record uses no cookie, creates no identifier and cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. It exists so we know how many people read each article. We never store IP addresses or location coordinates.
Legal basis
Necessary cookies and the anonymous record described above rely on the firm's legitimate interest in running and measuring its own site (LGPD, art. 7, IX), as low-impact processing without personal identification. Analytics and marketing cookies depend exclusively on your consent (art. 7, I), collected before anything is stored. Recording your own decision, including when you decline, is done to meet the duty to prove consent set out in art. 8, § 2. This site is operated from Brazil and this policy follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Who the data is shared with
The site is hosted by Vercel and the records are stored on Supabase, both acting as processors solely to provide the service. If the marketing category is active and allowed by you, browsing data is also sent to Google and Meta, which act as their own controllers on those platforms. We do not sell data and do not share it with any other third party.
Your rights
The LGPD grants you, among others, the rights to confirm that processing exists, access the data, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymisation or deletion, withdraw consent and object to processing based on legitimate interest (art. 18). Since this site's browsing records contain no name, e-mail or IP address, the practical way to exercise deletion over them is to withdraw consent — which deletes the cookies from your device and stops future records from being associated.
Contact
Questions about this policy or requests regarding your data may be sent to the firm's e-mail shown in the footer, or through the contact phone numbers. We will respond within the period set by law.
How to change or withdraw your choice
You may change your decision at any time, without giving a reason, through the button below or the cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. On withdrawal, analytics cookies are deleted from your device immediately.
